Valentine's Box?

Feb. 11th, 2008 | 09:26 am

*Marvin Grossberg places a plain box with his name written down outside the door of his office for anyone to slip anything for him*

Ah... it's going to be Valentine's Day soon. I was never the kind to celebrate, so I won't be disappointed if I don't happen to receive anything this year. Besides, it's just another day for me. I hope it's not too late to set this box up.

*AH-HEM*

Ah yes... the holidays are finally over with, and rest assure, I had a wonderful time. I must apologize for not spending enough time posting any new entries for this online journal as I have been extremely busy as of lately. However, now that I have some time to spend, I figure now is a good time to keep everything up to date. I'm just not too sure on where to start things off.

Perhaps I can start off by discussing my holidays. Hm... yes that will do. The holidays were quite wonderful. I did eventually spend some time with my relatives, yes the same relatives I'd spent Thanksgiving with last year. It was quite splendid. Let's not forget the dinner. Oh yes... The meal was wonderful as always. When it came to returning back to my own residence, I had to part ways with them. Before doing, my brother bought me a gift. I was caught by surprise by this, because he got me a new painting for my office. It's an exact painting that I had 'lost' years ago, so I am glad that I was finally able to fill the empty void in my office. It won't quite bring back fond memories, but it will likely bring new ones in the future...

Oh yes! I mustn't forget about the party I was invited to. My good friend, Phoenix Wright, had invited me to a party that his new boss, Kristoph Gavin, was holding. So being the ever so diligent person I am, I had to come to meet with Mr. Gavin. I don't believe we got off on a good start, but I suppose that it couldn't be helped. So he invited me inside to feast on the appetizers, which is something I did. I must say, the food was good, albeit being only bite sized foods being served. I must've not stayed there very long, because I don't really recall there being any commotion while I was there. Oh well, I'll have to thank Mr. Gavin for the party, and Mr. Wright for inviting me when I have the chance.

Well it seems that I have registered myself an online journal of sorts for my own personal use. I am not quite sure what to think of this, but I do think it's quite a neat thing for someone like myself to keep up with others. I was informed about this journal from one of my young nieces or nephews. They were rather asking asking me things such as "Hey Uncle Marvin, do you have a LiveJournal?" and such. They even told me that it's a public kind so other people can read and make comments to whatever I type down. A silly conception if you ask me. Just like how silly kids are these days... Though they do remind me of myself when I was a youth at their age!

Ah the days of my youth... like the scent of fresh lemons...

But I digress! Anyway, I was over at my relatives' house during the Thanksgiving holiday, and I have just recently returned home. The travel back home was rather... uneventful at best. I can't remember when's the last time I've had such trouble with travel in the past, it surely has soured my vacation to visit family, but I still was able to at least enjoy it. The Thanksgiving meal my sister-in-law cooked was most splendid indeed! The Grossberg family sure knows how to fix up a meal, and I am rather thankful to have great family! I enjoyed the meal so much, I feel I may have gained... a few pounds from eating. (Actually, I hope it's just a few...) Now that I am back home, I do believe it's time to start losing this weight, but I'm not sure if I can manage. I've never been able to keep a steady exercise schedule since I usually end up feeling tired and give up rather too easily.

I do believe it's time for me to get back to work. Never a day is wasted for a lawyer!

Yours,

Marvin Grossberg

A disturbing email

*AH-HEEEEEM!*

This is certainly most outrageous. I have received a very disturbing email the other day. What makes it so disturbing? Well, I can't say for sure, but it most certainly is very disturbing. Kids these days are sometimes strange. I do believe that this email featured some very inappropriate pictures of myself. I would never do such a thing these pictures suggest! Not even during the days of my youth. Ah the days of my youth, like the scent of fresh lemons... Um, well, I guess that's all I have to say on this subject. You see, I am a very busy man and I can't just sit around this computer all day. Take care my dears.

Yours,
Marvin Grossberg

[OOC: XD Pictures in question can be found at CR, but in case you want to see...

Well, it does seem that I have gotten myself this online journal. I was working with one of my clients, and I was told about this. I figured I might as well get one, so I can keep up with everyone else, or at least try to. I've been extremely busy so I don't have all the free time to spend. However, I will make an attempt to keep up with this. Sadly, I don't know if I will be able to, because my job has been keeping me very busy. It would be nice to have more free time, especially when I was a young man. Ah, the days of my youth, how I missed thee. However, I'm much too busy to look into my past, so I must leave that be. Hopefully, I'll have something to look forward to when I check this in the future. Sadly, I must go, for I cannot waste any more minutes as I am a very busy person.

Well, before I get myself started and comfortable, a little about myself (the player). The name's Jeff, but you may also call me by my internet alias, which is Proto. You can also find me at [info]aj3nt_jeff. I may be contacted by one of two AIM screen names, ProtoFeS2 and/or xDMano, so feel free to contact me about some scenes or whatnot. It won't bother me, since I get bored very easily. I will be RPing as Marvin Grossberg.

*AH-HEM* Pardon me, now onto the profile, or what's left of it.

It's profile time! )
